The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the Class 10 Second Board Exam (Phase-2) Date Sheet 2026. This exam gives students a second chance to improve their marks.
- Exam Start Date: 15 May 2026
- Last Exam Date: 21 May / up to 1 June 2026 (varies by subjects)
- Mode: Offline (Pen & Paper)
- Time: Mostly 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
This is part of the new “two board exam system” introduced from 2026.

What is CBSE Second Board Exam?
- Conducted after the main exam (Feb–March)
- Allows students to improve marks (best-of-two rule)
- Final result considers the better score
Students can appear in up to 3 subjects for improvement.
Eligibility
You can appear if:
- You appeared in CBSE 10th Main Exam 2026
- Want to improve marks
- OR have compartment in subjects
Not open for completely new candidates.
Important Instructions
- Carry separate admit card for Phase-2
- Follow same exam pattern as main exam
- Internal marks remain unchanged
- Choose subjects carefully (max 3)
