Through this recruitment drive, a total of 650 Assistant posts will be filled across various RBI offices in India. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official RBI website within the specified dates.
This recruitment is conducted through a national-level competitive examination, and the selection process includes Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Vacancies are distributed across multiple RBI offices such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur & Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 50% marks in graduation (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
- Knowledge of computer operations.
- Candidates must know the local language of the state/region they apply for.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Online)
- Main Examination (Online)
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Candidates who qualify in the Prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the Mains exam.
